Two Brothers Scrap Metal announced that Lily Coffin, a graduating high school senior from Farmingdale High School, was the recipient of the Two Brothers Scrap Metal Environmental Conservation Scholarship.

The December issue of American Recycler featured an article on Two Brothers Scrap Metal’s involvement in the eWaste Drive at Mineola Middle School in October. Two Brothers donated the use of a container during the event. Students and teachers encouraged local residents to drop off their unwanted and unused electronics — monitors, cell phones, laptops, etc. — to be recycled. As a result, 8,840 pounds of electronic waste was collected.
